Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP) and hold an active, unrestricted PMHNP license. A minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering psychiatric clinical care in acute settings and 2 years of experience in managing clinical risk, patient safety, or high-acuity situations are required. Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of experience mentoring or supervising mental health clinicians, experience in a high-growth mental health tech start-up, advanced competency with Google products, a deep understanding of documentation standards and risk assessment, and the ability to work independently with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

The Psychiatric Patient Programs Specialist will serve as a clinical resource, investigator, and problem-solver, responding to safety concerns, resolving grievances, and identifying areas for improvement within the clinical escalation team. This role involves working across teams, providers, and systems to advocate for safe, high-quality care and to shape the tools and workflows that will scale this impact across the network. The specialist will also leverage their expertise to support both patients and providers, ensuring complex, high-risk psychiatric cases receive timely, compassionate, and clinically excellent support.
