About the Role

We are seeking a highly consultative Field Trainer to lead impactful, in-person training that accelerates early clinical success with Dandy’s digital dentistry solutions. This field-based role requires up to 85% travel and focuses on confidently guiding dental practices through the adoption of intraoral scanning and digital workflows.

You will act as a trusted clinical advisor to clinicians, operational leaders, and executive stakeholders, assisting teams in adopting new technology, digital workflows, improving clinical performance, and accelerating early success. This position blends clinical training expertise with operational execution and post-training insights to deliver measurable value at the intersection of training, technology, and practice growth.

Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Clinical Coaching

• Lead high-touch, in-person trainings to support doctors and staff in adopting intraoral scanning and digital workflows.
• Coach teams based on live observation, reinforcing best practices and adapting in real-time to meet practice goals and maturity levels.
• Drive early case submission during training by removing blockers, reinforcing clinical urgency, and building confidence during and immediately after training.

Clinical Advisory & Post-Training Analysis

• Partner with clinicians and practice leaders to reinforce scanning habits and support early adoption.
• Monitor outcomes in the first 30 days and identify targeted coaching opportunities to accelerate success.
• Share field insights to inform scalable resources, improve onboarding, and strengthen future trainings.

Practice Readiness & Operational Alignment

• Assess readiness across clinical workflows, team structure, and equipment to proactively identify blockers or risks.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the right resources, messaging, and tools are in place before training days.
• Customize training strategies based on practice size, complexity, and clinical goals.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• Clinical Training Experience: 3+ years of experience delivering clinical training in digital dentistry or dental technology, with strong familiarity with intraoral scanning and digital workflows.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness and enthusiasm to travel up to 85% to deliver in-practice training and support.
• Proximity to Travel Hubs: Located near a major airport (ORD) to support frequent national travel. Must be within a 60-minute drive.
• Leadership Presence: Comfortable partnering with senior leaders, clinicians, and staff across roles to influence behavior and drive adoption.
• In-Person Agility: Comfortable operating independently in the field, adjusting plans in real-time based on practice dynamics and needs.
• Operational Expertise: 3+ years managing training logistics, readiness assessments, and multi-practice coordination in fast-paced environments.
• Strong Communicator: Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to adjust tone and approach based on the audience—whether working with hygienists or C-suite stakeholders.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for helping practices succeed, with a solutions-oriented approach to onboarding, training, and adoption.
