This role involves registering and maintaining short-term rental permitting for Wander’s Vacation rentals. It’s a part of the Finance organization.

Requirements

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
  • Organization: Highly organized
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills to meet filing and renewal deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Google Suite (Mail, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic
  • Self-Discipline: Self-disciplined and able to handle/prioritize multiple tasks independently.
  • Equipment: Laptop and internet access at home.
  • Interest: Interest in long-term employment and career growth at a high-growth, tight-knit company.
  • Bonus: Experience in the hospitality industry or short-term rentals.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or four or more years of work experience. Recent grads are welcome.

  • Permitting Research: Research requirements for short-term rentals in various jurisdictions.
  • Permit Filing: File necessary documentation for registering new rental properties.
  • Coordination: Coordinating safety and related inspections.
  • Compliance: Ensuring ongoing compliance by managing preparation and remittance of regular filings and renewals.
  • Checklist Maintenance: Maintaining checklists for short-term rental permit requirements.
  • Calendar Management: Maintaining an accurate calendar of all permitting due dates and executing on renewals timely.
  • File Management: File zoning, building, and related code information and application forms.
  • Application Processing: Process permit applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Record Keeping: Prepare, maintain, and store records.
