Requirements

  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Clean driving record: No more than (2) moving violations within the last 12 months; no more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years
  • Ability to drive a company issued vehicle
  • Availability for 24-hour on-call periods

Responsibilities

  • Deliver, install, troubleshoot, test, and repair surface control equipment on customer locations
  • Assist Field Service Technicians in safe installation, removal, repair, and service of equipment on drilling rigs or well sites
  • Effectively demonstrate SPM Oil & Gas core values at all times
  • Follow all written policies and procedures safely without deviation or refer to upper management for guidance
  • Exhibit and advocate exemplary safety culture at all times
  • Observe preparation and process of creating JSA (Job Safety Analysis) and POWRA (Point of Work Risk Assessment) on job site and perform all duties safely in accordance with SPM Oil & Gas SHE policies
  • Adhere to and exercise Stop Work Authority and Management of Change
  • Provide superior customer service to all internal and external customers
  • Maintain SPM Oil & Gas company supplied assets and any other equipment, including site-specific equipment, as per company policy
  • Learn to prepare accurate field service and sales orders
  • Promote and represent SPM Oil & Gas in field service and sales
  • Maintain a professional appearance and work attitude at all times
  • Assist in the pre-check of all equipment and processes prior to starting the job to ensure operability and completeness
  • Perform in a team setting
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and written
  • Performs other duties as assigned
