Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States (no OPT, J1, F1 students or visa sponsorship)
  • Willing to obtain/maintain an active and valid US Passport
  • Possess a non-expired US Driver's license
  • Willing to travel up to 50% (core travel in Spring/Summer, alternating weeks during busy season; 1 week/month off-peak; international travel 10-14 nights)
  • Based out of Bloomington, MN (5 days on-site or hybrid 3 days on-site/2 remote)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Engineering and Distribution to setup new customer locations for Autonomous machines and establish sustainable processes (including travel for site assessment, property mapping, and setup)
  • Lead and execute customer site setup, maintain prototype machine uptime, and perform data collection
  • Collaborate with distribution SMEs for coaching and mentoring on new technology, learn from field experience, and provide feedback to the Technology Service Manager
  • Demonstrate technical expertise for customers and distributors as a Toro advocate
  • Capture comprehensive and critical data related to digital and autonomous issues from sources like voice of customer, distributor service personnel, calls, and emails
  • Actively interface with external and internal departments to resolve difficult technical issues
  • Partner with Aftermarket Service Team, TAC, and Distributor SMEs in testing and validating new workflow processes within distributor facilities
  • Respond to and resolve technical inquiries quickly and accurately
  • Perform technical research to identify product issues and provide technical product support
  • Handle appropriate expense reporting duties for travel
