Candidates should possess an apprenticeship as an electrician, electronics technician, electromechanician, mechatronics technician or a comparable technical education. Experience in the commissioning, assembly and maintenance of machines and systems, ideally in medical technology is preferred. Fast understanding, good communication skills, customer-oriented and secure behavior, independent work, teamwork, initiative and flexibility are also required. Foundations in computer skills and fluent German and English language skills are necessary. A class B driver’s license (class 3) is essential.
The Field Service Engineer will efficiently carry out customer service orders (maintenance, repairs and recall campaigns) while adhering to our quality standards. They will provide technical support to sales representatives, including on-site support for customers in the field, order and manage spare parts and consumables, monitor the return of materials, analyze and resolve faults on-site, adhere to inspection intervals, meet agreed customer service deadlines, prepare and follow up on service deployments, advise customers on fault reports and operator problems, initiate escalation processes in case of frequent faults, document and process complaints and interface with logistics, administration, training/support and service management. They will also participate in improvement projects and maintain quality processes (internal and external).
