Requirements

Candidates should possess an associate degree or equivalent experience/certification in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical automation systems. They should also be proficient in performing inspections, have strong electro-mechanical skills, and demonstrate a high level of robotic troubleshooting, including programming experience as a plus.

Responsibilities

The Field Service Maintenance Technician will ensure safety commitments are met daily, perform inspections and upgrades on Automated Storage and Retrieval System and Symbot Autonomous vehicle fleet components, support continuous operation through adjustments and repairs, maintain advanced system knowledge, perform advanced troubleshooting of the robotic vehicle fleet, verify equipment quality and structural readiness, perform periodic system inspections and document all actions, communicate production impacting problems, commission new robot fleet vehicles, clean work areas, recover robotic vehicles, and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
