Candidates must possess a University Engineering degree or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience with sophisticated systems, or equivalent military experience. Prior experience with Laser Scanners, Camera Controls, Circuit Analysis, or similar systems is required, along with proficiency in Windows software and network knowledge. Applicants must also have the ability to obtain a valid passport and travel regionally and internationally as needed, and possess a valid driver’s license. Furthermore, candidates must be a US citizen or Green Card holder for ITAR compliance, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
The Field Service Engineer will conduct on-site installations, scheduled planned maintenance visits, and provide troubleshooting and repair support for customers. They will also cultivate positive working relationships with users and colleagues, advise customers on system operation and maintenance, serve as a company liaison, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, the role involves technical training, travel approximately 75% of the work weeks, and collaborating with application scientists, technical support engineers, and customers to resolve complex challenges.
