Responsibilities

As a Field Applications Engineer, you will drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs, developing an advanced understanding of customer needs and leveraging Arrow’s engineering and design services resources to identify and facilitate solutions. You will apply technical expertise to influence designs utilizing solution selling, resources, and strategies, partnering with the sales team across pre-and post-sales activities. Providing technical support and consulting to promote demand creation, championing return on engineering investment, and designing win priorities is also a key responsibility. You will work with customers to develop a thorough understanding of their design requirements, prepare and deliver sales presentations, manage top opportunities and the opportunity funnel, attend supplier trainings, demonstrate an understanding of supplier technologies, and provide training to sales teams. Furthermore, you will manage supplier and customer expectations by building relationships, keeping stakeholders informed, and attending strategic branch meetings and quarterly business reviews. Finally, you will help plan and organize engineering customer events and seminars.
