Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Mass Spectroscopy (MS) instruments are required. The ability to lift 40 pounds without assistance and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is also necessary.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, and qualifications of HPLC and MS instruments, working closely with customers and collaborating with other ULS teams and Sales. You will analyze system chemistry, diagnose technical problems, recommend corrective actions, and maintain communication with customers and internal teams to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Additionally, you will utilize customer management software, manage parts inventories, and travel up to 25% for training, mentoring, and supporting other sites, potentially including overnight travel.
