Requirements
- Strong knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and fluids components
- Ability to apply basic engineering theory to diagnose issues, understand root causes, and apply solutions
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clinical staff, patients, and internal personnel
- Self-starter with ability to multi-task and re-prioritize duties
- Availability for after-hours phone support, holiday/weekend on-site support, and up to 50% travel (including overnight and potential worldwide)
- Ability to become a technical subject matter expert on the Tablo product
Responsibilities
- Provide on-demand first and second level technical support to customers, including after-hours, holiday, and weekend on-site support
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair Tablo Dialysis Systems at customer facilities or patient homes
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, including calibrations, hardware/software upgrades, and verification of system specifications
- Address and resolve customer issues and escalations
- Complete all field service and expense reports according to functional standards
- Support Marketing and Sales for seminars, trade shows, or demonstrations
- Provide detailed feedback to R&D regarding performance, serviceability, and customer comments
- Support development of training and service materials
- Accurately document all service activities, maintain spares inventory, and provide parts usage/failures in the ERP system
- Manage and maintain company assets (tools, equipment, trunk inventory) in accordance with Quality Management System policies
