Requirements

Candidates should possess an Associate degree or equivalent experience/certification in electronics, automotive, automation, or manufacturing. A minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical systems maintenance and electro-mechanical experience is highly preferred. Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, including data import, chart production, Pivot Tables, and filters, is required. Basic networking skills such as understanding IP addresses, MAC addresses, pinging, and SSH are necessary. Advanced troubleshooting skills, including reading CAD drawings, maintenance manuals, and user manuals, are essential. The ability to work independently, adapt to a dynamic environment, and travel up to 75% of the time is crucial. A valid driver's license and the ability to manage personal expenses for reimbursement are also required.

Responsibilities

The System Reliability Test Engineer will perform inspections on automated robotic systems, including adapter cells, vertical lifts, conveyors, and autonomous bots. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and validating these systems, as well as replacing mechanical, electrical/electronic, and pneumatic sub-systems. The role involves supporting continuous operation by adjusting and repairing components, performing basic PLC troubleshooting, running SQL queries, and executing test plans. Effective communication of schedule-impacting issues and proposed solutions is required. The engineer will also be responsible for equipment cleanup, minor utility work such as machining and aligning sensors, troubleshooting and setting up robotic arms, and maintaining 5S policies. Ensuring compliance with safety commitments and assisting in team member training are also key duties.
