Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering, such as biomedical, mechanical, electronic, or information engineering, or have equivalent work experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for conveying technical information to non-technical staff. The role requires the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and tolerate high stress. Excellent problem-solving skills and engineering judgment are needed to address complex electronic or mechanical equipment issues. A valid driver's license is also required.
The Field Service Engineer will provide onsite services including repairs, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and installations of diagnostic analyzers. This includes traveling to customer sites on short notice to resolve issues or support other field service personnel. The engineer must adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) and internal policies for field service reports and spare parts management. They will also collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve processes, and provide remote or onsite training to technicians and operators. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
