Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in mechanical robotics, automation, and/or electrical/mechanical maintenance. Certification in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing, or an equivalent field is preferred. Direct leadership or managerial experience is also required.

Responsibilities

The Supervisor, Field Service Maintenance will lead, train, and develop field service technicians, implementing standardized policies and procedures. They will coordinate weekly deployment schedules, act as the primary escalation point for maintenance issues, and develop troubleshooting documentation. Responsibilities include ensuring safety compliance, managing escalated equipment needs, performing inspections and repairs on robotic systems and autonomous vehicles, and maintaining advanced knowledge of Symbotic's systems. The role also involves conducting quality inspections, documenting maintenance through CMMS, communicating production-impacting issues, and adapting to a fast-paced environment.
