Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an event strategy to acquire and delight customers, partners, and investors, aligning with the Roofr brand and value proposition.
- Initiate and project manage event projects from conception to completion, ensuring clear task lists, deadlines, and resource allocation.
- Measure, optimize, and iterate on event campaigns focused on acquisition and customer affinity.
- Identify and manage event sponsorship opportunities, including budget negotiation, speaker identification, deliverable execution, conversion funnel creation, and results reporting.
- Manage all aspects of in-person and virtual events, including timelines, vendor management, speaker coordination, shipments, collateral, signage, giveaways, catering, AV, travel, payments, and technical setup/teardown.
- Nurture positive speaker and partner relationships to foster long-term marketing partnerships.
- Collaborate with the field marketing team to plan and execute pre-, during-, and post-event activities, nurturing, and conversion programs.
- Liaise with other Roofr teams (Brand, Revenue, Product, Support) to secure necessary resources and support for events.
- Partner with the creative team to ensure consistent and high-quality branding across all events.
- Manage and track event and partner inventory, including collateral and giveaways.
- Conduct post-campaign administration, including budget reconciliation, KPI tracking, follow-up communications, team debriefs, and ROI analysis.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or demand generation.
- Proven experience in event marketing tasks, including planning and reporting for tradeshows, roadshows, webinars, and community events.
- Proficiency with email marketing and event software (e.g., Hubspot, Splash, or similar).
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Superior written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time for events across North America.
- Self-motivated with strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
- Independent, resourceful, and capable of creative problem-solving.
- Analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and challenges.
- Experience in a startup SaaS environment, preferably in SMB or construction-tech, is a plus.
