Rockbot is seeking a strategic Field Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. This role is crucial for driving Rockbot's awareness and preference in the industry by treating events as living campaigns. Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, you will be instrumental in our demand generation strategy, focusing on expanding brand awareness and favorability in real-world settings.

This position embodies Rockbot's brand promise of creating impactful, revenue-driving digital experiences within physical environments. You will manage event logistics and identify innovative engagement opportunities with customers and prospects. This is a highly collaborative role, working across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer teams to ensure exceptional event experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end event strategy and execution for Rockbot’s industry and partner event program.
  • Generate creative ideas for events of all sizes (intimate dinners to large conferences and virtual events), executing them with thoughtfulness and detail.
  • Imagine and implement novel field marketing experiences.
  • Track pipeline and revenue impact, report results and learnings, and refine event strategy based on insights.
  • Train and coach booth staff on maximizing lead generation and traction at events.
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop engaging event assets that amplify Rockbot’s brand.
  • Act as an on-site brand ambassador, promoting Rockbot’s products and mission.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for Rockbot to excel.
  • Gather competitive intelligence from conversations and interactions.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of event management experience for technology companies.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS marketing, subscription-based models, and/or streaming media is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of how events drive demand across the marketing funnel.
  • A strategic marketing mindset, focused on the business value of events and developing end-to-end campaigns.
  • Proven ability to lead or play a key role in teams managing major industry events and user conferences.
  • Experience identifying key speaking opportunities and making brands stand out.
  • Proficiency in email marketing and analyzing funnel data.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proactive and organized approach.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in managing live crisis situations.
  • Ability to identify challenges and opportunities to enhance the field marketing program.
