Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Roofr brand, value proposition, and target audience to execute an event strategy that acquires and delights prospective and existing customers, partners, and investors.
  • Initiate and project manage event projects end-to-end and on time, ensuring clear task lists, deadlines, and resource identification. Measure, optimize, and iterate on acquisition and affinity-focused campaigns.
  • Identify new opportunities for event sponsorship, manage the sponsorship cycle including budget negotiation, speaker identification, deliverable execution, conversion funnel creation, and results reporting.
  • Manage in-person field events and future virtual events from start to finish, including timelines, vendor management, speaker management, shipments, collateral (print and digital), signage, giveaways, catering, AV requirements, travel, payment, and technical setup/teardown.
  • Nurture positive speaker and partner experiences by building trusting, long-term relationships to convert them into marketing partners.
  • Collaborate closely with the field marketing team to plan and execute pre, during, and post-event activities, nurture, and conversion programs.
  • Work with the wider Roofr team (brand, revenue, product, support) to secure help, support, and resources for event-related needs.
  • Partner with the creative team to ensure high-quality, consistent branding across all events.
  • Order and track event and partner inventory, including collateral and giveaways.
  • Execute all post-campaign administration, including budget reconciliation, KPI tracking, follow-up communications, team debriefs, and ROI analysis.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or demand generation.
  • Proven experience in event marketing tasks, including planning and reporting for tradeshows, roadshows, webinars, and community events.
  • Comfortable with email marketing and event software such as Hubspot, Splash, or similar.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Superior written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to various events in North America.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Independent, resourceful, and capable of creative problem-solving.
  • Analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and challenges.
  • Experience in a startup SaaS environment, preferably in SMB or construction-tech, is a plus.
