Requirements

Candidates should possess a High School degree or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree being preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer contact (retail or apartment community) or sales is required. Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Sales Force is desired. A valid driver's license, transportation, and insurance are mandatory. Bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, problem-solving ability guided by organizational policies, and the capacity to work independently as part of a team. Excellent listening and analytical skills are necessary, along with the ability to negotiate and overcome customer resistance. Up to 20% overnight travel is also required.

Responsibilities

The Field Marketing Associate will engage directly with multi-family property managers and leasing agents to promote the company as the preferred electricity provider. This involves making on-site field marketing visits to promote brands to residents and homebuyers at partner locations. The role includes educating property management and homebuilder staff on brand benefits, collecting and documenting competitive intelligence, and providing site management with enrollment results. The associate will also run contests as needed, review and update system information for accuracy, and maintain the ability to vary sales approaches based on market conditions. Approximately 90% of the time will be spent out of the office visiting multi-family properties and homebuilder model homes.
