Requirements

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently while performing standard maintenance and repair tasks, possess outstanding skills in preventive maintenance and repair of refrigeration, heating, and compressor equipment, and demonstrate competence in routine repairs of electrically powered equipment. Strict attention to detail is required when detecting and repairing hydraulic system leaks, along with expertise in diagnosing electrical control faults and experience in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installations.

Responsibilities

The Facilities Technician B will perform preventive maintenance and repairs in refrigeration, heating, and compressor equipment, including replacing belts on motors, bearings, and couplings; maintain and perform routine repairs to electrically powered equipment; detect and repair leaks in the hydraulic system promptly and efficiently; diagnose electrical control faults to ensure equipment operates efficiently; complete medium-level electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installations; and propose and implement improvements in department work methodologies.
