Requirements

Candidates should possess an associate degree or equivalent experience or certification in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing, or a related field, and a minimum of two years’ experience in maintenance of mechanical systems with a preference for electro-mechanical experience. Familiarity with PLC programming, SQL queries, and experience utilizing test management tools such as Test Rail, Jiraira, SharePoint, or similar collaboration methods is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The System Reliability Test Engineer will perform inspections on automated robotic systems, support continuous operation through adjustments, calibrations, repairs, and modifications of system components, troubleshoot and calibrate robotic arms, ensure adherence to safety commitments including OSHA regulations and Symbotic’s processes, assist in training and onboarding team members, and perform cleanup of equipment and removal of replaced parts. They will also be responsible for minor utility work such as machining holes, brackets, cutting steel, aligning sensors, attaching Unistrut, and continuously cleaning while adhering to 5S policies, effectively communicating schedule impacting problems and suggested actions to required team members.
