Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of major renovations to interior/exterior surfaces, fixtures and fittings on buildings through contractors
  • Monitor, lead and maintain critical plant and equipment (e.g., UPS, generators, fridges, freezers, temperature monitoring, CCTV, HVAC, fire alert, IT systems)
  • Assist/coordinate Group Facilities building projects (e.g., office moves, office fit outs, infrastructure installations, escorting vendors)
  • Attend to completion of procedural/instructional/transactional forms/documentation including daily, weekly, and monthly health checks on equipment
  • Assist in resolution of IT queries, desktop support, and installations
  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance of property (e.g., painting, general maintenance and repairs including doors, windows, locks)
  • Coordinate site maintenance (e.g., parking & garden areas)
  • Record data for fault diagnosis, corrective and preventative maintenance, and condition monitoring
  • Identify maintenance concerns and provide Line Manager with regular written/verbal feedback
  • Respond to emergency calls as per facility emergency requirements
  • Perform standby duties as first responder in emergencies
  • Conduct OHS inspections
  • Coordinate and lead operation and maintenance of buildings and equipment (heating, lighting, refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, water purification, air filtering, electrical/electronic systems)
  • Perform preventative maintenance, solve problems, repair equipment/systems, detail all activities
  • Understand, recommend, and install new systems; provide corrections to SOPs; assist in evaluating new equipment/technology
  • Replace equipment and components as necessary
  • Conduct regular inspections for compliance with requirements, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records for reporting
  • Perform interior/exterior maintenance duties
