Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the Promotional and Marketing Strategy for Asda Express, ensuring a cohesive customer proposition that communicates both value and quality
  • Create impactful campaigns and initiatives that resonate with customers, driving engagement and loyalty while supporting overall business growth
  • Take ownership of shaping and delivering the Express customer proposition, working cross-functionally to define and embed a value-led offer
  • Conduct detailed analysis and promotional autopsies to understand category roles and space principles
  • Collaborate with Commercial Managers and suppliers to align activity and maximize opportunities
  • Lead the end-to-end trade plan, managing the quarterly promotional planning process—from strategy through execution—ensuring promotions land right first time and driving process improvements for a streamlined approach
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to translate plans into strong in-store execution
