Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in developing or utilizing event technology platforms, including registration/request management systems, mobile event applications, and onsite tools like mobile check-in or RFID. They must also possess over 5 years of experience in large-scale event project management, experience defining program requirements and using metrics for improvements, the ability to generate big ideas and drive process improvements, experience working across multiple teams and disciplines, and be able to travel more than 30 days a year. Knowledge of platforms like Stova, Rainfocus, and/or CVENT, along with being a native member of the Twitch community and knowledge of gaming or content creation, are considered bonus points.
The Event Manager will develop ticket strategy, manage registration, and oversee the implementation of registration programs for Twitch's global community convention, TwitchCon. They will serve as a super-user for reporting, testing, and data management for pre-event and onsite registration, and manage the onboarding, technical implementation, and management of the registration/ticketing platform and mobile app. Responsibilities include partnering with event marketers to define metrics and develop registration/onsite management reporting, organizing onsite staffing needs in partnership with an event production agency, providing training and oversight to CX team members for exceptional customer experience, and managing vendor/software selection, relationships, and process improvements for registration, app, and meet & greets.
