Requirements

Candidates should possess 10+ years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 3 years of experience in managing and optimizing small to mid-size software teams, a strong record of delivery on product outcomes, and a proven ability to build and deliver web applications. Expertise in a modern web framework (Django, Flask, Express, etc.), a modern SPA framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.), and modern infrastructure (Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, CircleCI, etc.) is required, and prior experience in startups and financial technology companies is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Tech Lead Manager will manage a pod of full-stack engineers, be willing to code as needed, partner with product managers in developing and executing product roadmap, help develop the company's technical strategy and roadmap in coordination with the product and business teams, coordinate with the broader engineering team to spec features and communicate timelines, mentor engineers on the team and help them to grow and achieve their career goals, recruit, hire, and maintain an excellent team, and help identify pain points and build workflows to remove blockers for the engineering team.
