This position seeks an experienced, highly motivated sales professional to manage a sales region. The Sales Executive will be responsible for selling our marketing-leading Identity Management solutions to both end users and channel partners, leveraging all routes to market. The role requires a deep understanding of clients' businesses and the industry, identifying needs, developing compelling proposals, and ultimately closing business. The Sales Executive will also cultivate trusted relationships with key decision-makers and partners.

  • Experience with sales cycles (qualifying, presentations, negotiations, closing)
  • Understanding of Identity Management solutions
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners

Responsibilities

  • Exceed revenue quota goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Address each customer’s and partner’s unique inquiry, providing appropriate information and solutions.
  • Develop business plans aligned with assigned geographic and business needs.
  • Engage and work with business partners where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute marketing plans through/with end users and partners.
  • Follow-up on all leads and update internal systems.
  • Marshal and lead technical resources to demonstrate SailPoints’ advantages.
  • Follow-up with clients and work with Sailpoint post-sale account managers for ongoing coverage.
  • Understand and navigate all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the territory, including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors.
  • Understand and communicate product and technological strategies of competitors.
  • Maintain high levels of customer and partner satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate company Core Values and provide excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate and plan sales support activities.
