Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, and have 1-3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably within the cloud native, cybersecurity, or devops industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with proficiency in using CRM systems such as HubSpot CRM or Salesforce, and other sales enablement tools. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills are also necessary, alongside being self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The Enterprise Business Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting and identifying potential clients in the security sales market using various lead generation techniques, including cold calling, emailing, social media outreach, and attending industry events. They will conduct thorough research on prospects to understand their specific security needs, qualify leads, schedule meetings and product demos for the sales team, collaborate with the sales team to develop targeted sales strategies, maintain accurate records of prospects in the CRM system, and stay current on industry trends. Furthermore, they will provide feedback to marketing and product teams based on prospect interactions and attend sales training sessions to continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge.
