Account Executive - AI Observability

Position Overview

AI is rapidly transforming the world, and Arize AI is at the forefront as the leading AI observability and evaluation platform. We empower AI engineers to build and deploy high-performing, reliable models, adapting to the shift from traditional ML to generative AI and agentic systems. We are seeking a fast-paced, client-obsessed Account Executive with an entrepreneurial mindset to identify, win, and grow new customers. You will engage with the AI/ML community, identify prospects who will benefit from our solution, and build relationships to help them achieve their goals. This role involves navigating exciting and complex sales cycles with your business acumen.

The Team

Our engineering team builds systems that interact with some of the most complex software ever deployed in production. The team comprises industry veterans with experience in deep learning infrastructure, autonomous drones, ridesharing marketplaces, ad tech, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Networking, Selling, and Closing:
    • Build relationships with AI/ML stakeholders and actively participate in the community.
    • Conduct discovery with prospects and articulate the Arize vision.
    • Develop and execute a sophisticated prospecting strategy to identify and engage potential clients.
    • Create sales plays, write talk tracks, and strategically identify new business opportunities.
    • Conduct in-depth research on accounts, stakeholders, and competitors.
  • Managing Proof of Concepts, Driving Adoption, and Growing Accounts:
    • Manage and navigate internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
    • Understand customer use cases, scope licensing, and identify opportunities for expanded workloads.
    • Utilize BANT or MEDDIC methodology (preferred).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, demonstrating hunger, aggressiveness, and motivation.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn sales technologies for prospect identification and attraction.
  • Self-starter comfortable working in environments with limited established processes.
  • Full-cycle sales experience with the ability to navigate complex enterprise deals.
  • Fast-paced and focused on helping prospects and customers succeed.
  • Strong team player, valuing collective team success over individual gains.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to clearly and objectively convey observations from the field.

Bonus Points, But Not Required

  • Previous selling experience in:
    • Software Engineering
    • Data Science
    • Machine Learning

Compensation and Benefits

  • Estimated Annual Salary & Variable Compensation: $250,000 - $300,000
  • Equity: Competitive equity package.
  • Total Compensation: Includes salary, variable compensation, and equity.

Location

  • Remote-First Company: While remote-first, offices are available in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area for those who prefer in-person work.
  • WFH Stipend: A monthly stipend is provided for remote employees to cover co-working spaces.
