Corporate Development Manager

Salary: $120K - $150K Employment Type: Full-Time Location Type: Remote (Required to live in Georgia or New York)


Position Overview

Flock Safety is seeking a Corporate Development Manager to play a critical role in building a world-class partner ecosystem and accelerating Flock's growth through strategic partnerships, investments, and M&A. This role will identify, structure, and execute opportunities that drive go-to-market momentum and product leadership, positioning Flock as the ecosystem leader in public and private-sector markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • M&A Execution: Source, structure, and manage M&A opportunities, leading execution through diligence, financial modeling, deal negotiation, and internal stakeholder alignment.
  • Integration Management: Partner with functional leaders to plan and execute post-acquisition integration efforts, ensuring operational success and strategic value realization.
  • Investment Evaluation: Identify and evaluate minority investment opportunities that align with strategic priorities and enhance our ecosystem.
  • CVC Initiatives: Support the management of Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) initiatives, including investment thesis development, pipeline management, diligence, and portfolio monitoring.
  • Strategic Projects: Take ownership of ad hoc strategic projects such as market assessments, competitive analyses, build/buy/partner evaluations, and ecosystem strategy development.
  • Executive Reporting: Develop materials and recommendations for the Executive Team and Board on corporate development and strategic investment opportunities.

The Skillset

  • Proven experience in corporate development, M&A, investments, partnerships, or consulting.
  • Strong deal execution skills across M&A, investments, and partnerships.
  • Ability to drive build/buy/partner strategies.
  • Excellent financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders.
