The ideal candidate requires a proven impact as an Engineering Manager or equivalent role, leading cross-functional engineering teams, a passion for simplicity, efficiency, and enhanced performance with a pragmatic approach, strong skills in managing partnerships and resolving conflicts, expertise in addressing technology-related challenges, a robust background in technical fundamentals including Software Engineering/DevOps/Cloud Solutions, and the ability to manage engineering teams and scale system components worldwide. Candidates must also possess structured, analytical approach with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, and excellent problem-solving abilities, along with professional working proficiency in English.
This Engineering Manager will lead operations of a cross-functional engineering team, ensuring team health and performance across various metrics, proactively identifying and addressing risks and blockers, driving improvements in practices, processes, and ways of working, supporting team growth through onboarding, feedback, coaching, and performance management, overseeing the hiring process for the team, aligning team vision, mission, and strategy with Product Manager(s), collaborating with Product and Project Managers on goal setting, roadmap planning, and execution, aligning teams on strategy and managing stakeholder expectations, participating in system design, architecture reviews, and key technical decisions, and staying close to technical details to lead operations and ensure quality.
