Requirements

The Engineering Manager should possess 3+ years of experience successfully leading and managing teams, a strong ability to champion an engineering team through macro process changes, and a deep technical understanding, though coding is not expected. Responsibilities

This role requires the Engineering Manager to communicate and collaborate effectively with Product and Design counterparts, manage a fullstack team of engineers by identifying growth opportunities, providing continuous feedback, and performance management, establish and define their team’s strategy to ensure execution maximizes business impact, meet with customers to better understand product sentiment, introduce scalable, repeatable processes, and partner with recruiting on building out a diverse team of exceptionally motivated engineers. They will also play a critical role in shaping the engineering culture at Retool, emphasizing continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, and high standards for quality.
