Engagement Manager

The Engagement Manager will manage a portfolio of complex customer-facing Enterprise implementation projects from ideation to execution, overseeing all related project management activities. This includes project initiation, on-going management, risk and change management, and building/sharing expertise across the Client Services Organization. Responsibilities include ensuring customer engagements are planned and timelines are estimated accurately, securing customer commitment to Domo’s delivery methodology, and managing the execution of projects to plan. The role involves establishing strong relationships with stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress, issues, and risks, and actively managing expectations. The Engagement Manager will support internal project sponsors and management in balancing time, cost, and scope trade-offs, manage the financial aspects of the project including budgeting and estimate to actual variance, and ensure proper use of methodology, tools, and procedures. Proactively identifying changes in scope and taking appropriate actions to reassess and amend the scope of work, budget, and timeline is key. Escalating project issues early, managing risk, establishing contingencies, and identifying trigger events for mitigating action are also required. The Engagement Manager will work with Program Managers on the execution and delivery of complex projects and assist in the creation of standard and repeatable processes, assets, and tools for supporting project management on customer projects.
