Responsibilities

  • Operates in on-site and on-call capacities as per production and field support demand
  • Builds, installs, and repairs equipment
  • Trains end users on how to maintain gas systems for Airgas and its customers nationwide
  • Performs quality control of equipment to ensure performance rates and compliance with specifications
  • Assembles, repairs, and maintains all Airgas systems
  • Installs, maintains, tests, and troubleshoots equipment using electrical/mechanical expertise
  • Differentiates and resolves equipment, electrical, mechanical, and IT related issues, providing root causes and mitigation actions
  • Acts as liaison with Production, Management, Engineering, IT, and safety personnel at all sites
  • Plans and executes all service requirements in the field while implementing new installs nationwide
  • Performs PCB testing
  • Provides technical service support via phone and email
  • Diagnoses, tests, or analyzes the performance of electrical components, assemblies, or systems
  • Sets up and operates standard or specialized testing equipment
  • Obtains and evaluates all relevant information to handle product and service
  • Packs and processes orders for shipments
  • Manages inventory
  • Performs other job duties as may be assigned
  • Works under moderate supervision
