Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Controls experience, documented in their work history, and a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. An associate degree in electronic technology or a closely related technical field, or a combination of education and experience including skilled trade programs, military training, or other applicable training, is also preferred.
The Electrician will troubleshoot, repair, and provide technical support for machine systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. They will be in charge of the design, testing, implementation, and controls of all new and existing electrical systems in the plant, water treatment area, and external buildings, overseeing all electrical changes on site and directing maintenance associates.
