Responsibilities

  • Set and maintain Pharmacist schedules for stores in the district (60%): create/maintain templates, schedule DSPs, cover pharmacist vacations, maintain staffing contingency plans (e.g., call-lists), track vacation balances, send reporting/reminders, partner on LOA/RA scheduling, utilize base hours effectively, monitor HUB/HOB use, escalate financial risks like Hours Under Base
  • Track and submit pharmacist payroll weekly (10%): enter regular/non-work time (vacation, sick), shift/market requirements (night rates, predictability pay), review for quality assurance per CVS Pharmacist Payroll Administrative Guide
  • Seasonally manage vaccine/immunization clinic scheduling (10%): input clinics 3 weeks in advance, check daily for requests, revise pharmacist schedules, prevent client escalations, ensure coverage for pharmacist-secured clinics
  • Support effective coordination of scheduling in pharmacies across the market to ensure timely publication, coverage, and contingency plans
  • Support scheduling and staffing of outside immunization clinics, including client relationships and team preparation
  • Partner with Rx DL to identify/close gaps in PIC/POA registrations with state Board of Pharmacy
  • Escalate/follow up on issues impacting pharmacy operations (e.g., TempAlert excursions, Service Channel tickets, store supply ordering, exception reporting, audits)
