The role requires establishing credibility with product, engineering, and go-to-market principals, understanding operational and go-to-market implications, and gaining an intimate understanding of key business drivers to propose improvements. Experience guiding cross-functional initiatives through their entire lifecycle from strategy to execution is also required.
The Director of Strategic Operations will serve as a trusted advisor to the Technology Solutions VP & GM and a partner to cross-functional principals, supporting both operational and strategic aspects of the business. This role involves solving complex business problems through research and data analysis, identifying value-creation opportunities, and designing strategies to capture them. Responsibilities include driving the business's operating cadence through quarterly business reviews and executive product roadmap reviews, owning strategic planning for the Business Unit (BU) by modeling revenue, customers, costs, investments, and industry trends. The Director will manage the end-to-end budget planning cycle, resource portfolio, and hiring allocations, support alignment between BUs and stakeholders, and represent the BU team in cross-functional initiatives. Additionally, they will drive people and talent initiatives such as All-Hands meetings, employee surveys, awards, newsletters, team offsites, and employee engagement, while partnering with FP&A and Talent Acquisition on budget attainment and hiring execution.
