Exceptional communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams, along with the ability to manage complex projects and deliver measurable outcomes in fast-paced environments, are crucial. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related analytical field is required, and an advanced degree such as an MBA is preferred. The role is remote and based in the U.S.

Responsibilities

The Vice President, Strategy & Operations will drive business performance and scale operational capabilities for a high-growth vertical. This role is responsible for leading strategic initiatives, managing annual and quarterly business planning processes, KPI development, financial forecasting, and performance reviews. They will provide strategic insights and executive-level reporting on vertical performance, market trends, and competitive positioning, while collaborating with General Managers and product leaders to shape strategic investments and guide business decisions. Key responsibilities include building and implementing scalable operational systems, workflows, and governance structures to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support revenue growth. This includes optimizing marketplace and broker operations through improved forecasting, conversion tracking, lead funnel performance, and client success workflows, and leveraging analytics to monitor and improve performance across customer experience, partner enablement, and revenue generation. The role also involves identifying, scoping, and leading cross-functional strategic initiatives to unlock growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance competitive edge, ensuring alignment with company priorities and effective execution with Product, Revenue, Marketing, and Finance teams. Additionally, they will hire, manage, and develop high-performing teams, foster a culture of execution and continuous improvement, and act as a key voice at the executive table to shape the future of the vertical.
