The ability to establish credibility with product, engineering, and go-to-market principals, and an understanding of operational and go-to-market implications of recommendations are also required. The role demands the ability to gain an intimate understanding of key business drivers and proactively propose ways to increase business performance and efficiency, as well as guide cross-functional initiatives through their entire lifecycle from strategy to execution.
The Director of Strategic Operations will serve as a trusted advisor to the Technology Solutions VP & GM and a partner to cross-functional principals, supporting both operational and strategic aspects of the business. This role involves solving complex business problems through research and data analysis, identifying value-creation opportunities, and designing strategies to capture value. Responsibilities include driving the operating cadence of the business through quarterly business reviews and executive product roadmap reviews, owning strategic planning for the Business Unit (BU) with financial modeling and trend analysis, and managing the end-to-end budget planning cycle, resource portfolio, and hiring allocations. The Director will also support alignment between BUs and stakeholders, represent the BU team in cross-functional initiatives, and drive people and talent initiatives such as All-Hands meetings, employee surveys, and team offsites, while partnering with FP&A and Talent Acquisition teams on budget attainment and hiring execution.
