About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Finance Director to join our impactful Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Corporate FP&A, this role is pivotal in driving key strategic initiatives, including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), annual strategic planning, and go-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Projects

  • Develop, maintain, and oversee the company's financial models to support the annual strategic planning process.
  • Provide financial leadership on high-impact initiatives across the company, focusing on growth acceleration and product monetization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, offering decision-support analysis and framing strategic alternatives.
  • Develop frameworks for assessing Return on Investment (ROI) and business case modeling for new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with relevant business teams to drive scalable and profitable go-to-market models.
  • Conduct industry benchmarking and analyze competitor performance to support strategic recommendations.

M&A and Strategic Initiatives

  • Lead financial due diligence, modeling, and valuation for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
  • Partner with Strategy and Business Unit leads to assess the strategic fit and financial impact of potential deals.
  • Drive cross-functional integration planning and provide execution support post-acquisition.
  • Deliver executive-level summaries and board-ready presentations that articulate deal rationale and financial implications.

Competencies

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in corporate planning, strategic finance, investment banking, or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in M&A execution and financial modeling.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with a track record of cross-functional influence.
  • Experience in SaaS or technology companies is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adaptability to change.
  • Strong relationship building, business judgment, process management, and communication skills.
