Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of experience in corporate planning, strategic finance, or investment banking, with proven expertise in M&A execution and financial modeling. Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and cross-functional influence are essential. Experience in SaaS or technology companies is a plus, as are advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI is preferred, along with excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders. The candidate should be excited about working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to change, demonstrating strong relationship building, business judgment, and process management skills.

Responsibilities

The Director of Strategic Finance will lead key strategic initiatives, including M&A, annual strategic planning, and go-to-market strategies. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic planning, providing financial leadership on growth acceleration and product monetization initiatives, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders with decision-support analysis. The role involves developing frameworks for ROI and business case modeling, collaborating on go-to-market models, conducting industry benchmarking, and analyzing competitor performance. Additionally, the Director will lead financial due diligence, modeling, and valuation for M&A activities, assess the strategic and financial impact of potential deals, and support post-acquisition integration planning and execution. Delivering executive-level summaries and board-ready presentations on deal rationale and financial implications is also a key responsibility.
