Responsibilities

As Director of Solutions Engineering, you will:

  • Lead and manage the global Solutions Engineering team.
  • Elevate the Solutions Engineering function to be more repeatable, effective, and trusted.
  • Drive growth and shape the future of the business.

Key Goals

Within one month:

  • Build strong relationships with each Solutions Engineer.
  • Gain deep understanding of the product, messaging, and sales motion.
  • Understand key priorities by partnering with GTM leadership.
  • Audit the pre-sales process and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Establish team communication rhythms, 1:1s, and coaching structures.

Within three months:

  • Own and lead weekly Solutions Engineering updates within the revenue forecasting process.
  • Implement Solutions Engineering performance metrics and reporting dashboards.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering on feedback loops.
  • Introduce scalable best practices for discovery, demos, POCs, and RFPs.
  • Hire and onboard new Solutions Engineers to meet growth goals.
