Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, along with over 5 years of experience in fast-paced environments such as banking, consulting, tech, analytics, operations, or strategy. Strong operational instincts, analytical skills, first principles thinking, and a proven track record of leading high-performing service organizations are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate excellent people leadership, systems thinking, comfort with ambiguity, strong data proficiency including SQL familiarity, and ideally, experience in logistics or on-demand marketplaces.

Responsibilities

The Director of Service Operations will develop and execute a forward-looking strategy to scale operations, design and run a high-performing service operation across multiple channels, and set clear, data-driven goals and KPIs for teams. They will monitor performance, identify and solve problems proactively, inspire, coach, and grow the service and support teams, and periodically perform individual contributor roles to gain a deep understanding of the business. This role also involves partnering cross-functionally with Growth, Product, and Engineering to improve tools and systems, driving innovation in customer and driver support, and leveraging AI and automation to enhance efficiency.
