Candidates should have 5-8 years of experience in product marketing or related roles within B2B SaaS, with at least 3 years leading cross-functional marketing initiatives. Demonstrated success in managing analyst relations, Customer Advisory Boards, and customer-facing events is required, along with experience building customer marketing and/or partner marketing programs that drive pipeline and retention. A strong understanding of buyer journeys is also essential.
The Director of Product Marketing will own the development of product positioning, messaging, and value propositions, and lead go-to-market planning and execution for product launches. They will conduct competitive analysis and market research, and partner with sales, product, and revenue leadership to drive adoption and revenue growth. Responsibilities also include building and executing customer marketing programs to increase retention, expansion, and advocacy, participating in the Customer Advisory Board, and creating customer stories. Additionally, they will own the strategy for user conferences, collaborate with partnerships teams on go-to-market strategies and co-marketing campaigns, create partner enablement materials, and design partner communication plans. The role involves owning relationships with industry analysts, developing analyst-ready content, and acting as a company spokesperson. Finally, they will create enablement assets for sales and partners, train internal and partner sales teams, and ensure consistent product storytelling across all communications.
