Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company that is creating the best rent payment experience. It’s hard to believe that it’s 2025 and paying rent on time is expensive, inflexible, and difficult. We’re here to change that! Flex enables our users to pay rent throughout the month on a schedule that better fits their finances and budget. Our mission is to empower as many renters as possible with flexibility over their most significant recurring expense. After deliberately keeping a stealth profile as we built up unprecedented investor support and an enthusiastic user base, we are looking for motivated individuals to help us keep our mission growing. Will you be a part of the team?
We’re hiring a Principal Product Manager—our most senior individual‑contributor product role—to help architect Flex’s next decade of growth. This is really a first-of-its-kind role to help solve the company’s most complicated product problems and set the tone for product culture and thinking. The ideal candidate loves solving challenging problems, has a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done, and knows that motivating and garnering strong product culture is the success. Your super‑power is thinking in systems: spotting interdependencies, removing blockers, and translating strategy into results that renters feel and the business can measure.
You’ll be the connective tissue across Product, Design, Engineering, Risk, Data, Operations, and Go‑to‑Market—turning vision into an executable, company‑wide roadmap. You’ll work for our VP of Consumer Product and partner closely on the overall vision and mission for the broader Consumer business at Flex.
This is a hybrid position with on-site expectations of 3 days per week in our New York Headquarters. For candidates outside of the NY/NJ area, you may be eligible for our relocation assistance program.
Comprehensive contract manufacturer for electronics
Flex provides comprehensive electronics manufacturing services, originally starting with circuit board production for tech companies in Silicon Valley. The company automates its manufacturing processes to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness, which has made it a trusted partner for various industries, including automotive, healthcare, and consumer electronics. Flex's services encompass design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain management, allowing businesses to outsource their production needs and focus on their core activities. A key differentiator for Flex is its subsidiary, Anord Mardix, which specializes in critical power solutions and custom products for clients with complex requirements. Additionally, Flex is dedicated to sustainability, aiming for a significant portion of its customers to adopt science-based emissions targets by 2025, reflecting its commitment to environmental responsibility.
