Requirements

Candidates should possess 8+ years of experience in platform engineering and infrastructure leadership roles, demonstrating expertise in building and scaling generative AI platforms and developer productivity tools. Strong experience with AWS Bedrock, Amazon Q Developer, and Amazon Q for Business is required, along with familiarity with agentic AI solutions and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.

Responsibilities

As the Director of AI Infrastructure Engineering, you will build and lead an AI Infrastructure Engineering team, establishing team culture, processes, and technical standards while recruiting top-tier talent. You will develop a comprehensive technical vision for generative AI infrastructure, own and operate generative AI platforms, establish operational excellence, build and deploy agentic AI solutions, partner with the Data+ML organization, create strategic roadmaps, manage AI infrastructure costs and performance, build vendor partnerships, mentor team members, and establish metrics to measure AI platform adoption and business impact.
