Candidates must possess over 10 years of hands-on marketing experience in proteomics, molecular biology, genomics, or biotechnology, and at least 7 years of leadership experience in life science marketing. Demonstrated leadership capability, a keen understanding of the sales process, and strong creative intuition for design and messaging are essential. The ability to develop and present strategy effectively, manage complex marketing projects with attention to detail, and execute project goals independently is crucial. Strong analytical, computer, multi-tasking, executive communication, and financial management skills are necessary, along with a desire to learn and grow. Willingness to travel up to 25% is also required.
The Director, Global Marketing PSX will establish strategic positions and tactical marketing plans to ensure company success. They will build global demand for products by developing and coordinating marketing plans, including segmentation, targeting, and positioning. Key responsibilities include leading product launch activities, promotional marketing campaigns, and marketing communication efforts in alignment with the commercial strategy. This role involves hiring, developing, and motivating a marketing team, fostering a collaborative culture, and cultivating positive relationships with the Sales organization. Collaboration with Product Management and Scientific Affairs to align objectives, developing a deep understanding of customer needs to build value propositions, and managing a metrics/reporting system to track marketing program success are also critical. Staying informed about precision medicine markets, competitors, and customers, and applying market research and data to size opportunities and build successful marketing programs are expected.
