Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with an MBA or relevant master's degree preferred. Relevant professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CRMA, CISA, or CERM are required. A minimum of 10 years of experience in internal audit, enterprise risk management, or a related field is necessary, including 3-5 years in a leadership capacity. Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks like COSO ERM and ISO 31000, along with demonstrated experience presenting to executive leadership, excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills are essential.
The Director of the Enterprise Risk Program will develop, lead, and maintain the company's enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, integrating risk considerations into the internal audit function and senior leadership's strategic decision-making. This role involves overseeing the identification, assessment, prioritization, and monitoring of enterprise risks, facilitating risk workshops with senior leadership, and strengthening governance processes. Responsibilities include aligning the internal audit plan with top enterprise risks, collaborating with audit teams, advising on risk issues and remediation strategies, preparing risk reports for management and the audit committee, maintaining the enterprise risk register, and communicating risk insights to business units. The Director will also partner with compliance, legal, information security, and finance departments, support risk ownership across the enterprise, promote a strong risk culture, champion risk awareness, and establish risk review groups. Additionally, they will monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry risk trends to ensure compliance with ERM and internal audit best practices.
