Candidates must possess an active, unrestricted clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD) and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in direct outpatient psychotherapy or clinical supervision. A proven history in clinical risk management and client safety, including crisis response, safety planning, and adherence to ethical and legal documentation standards, is required. Experience collaborating with Operations, Support, or Legal teams on clinical safety issues or system-level changes is necessary, as is the ability to clearly communicate clinical concepts in writing. Prior experience in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, such as a startup or telehealth platform, and a background in designing workflows or tools are also beneficial.
The Clinical Risk Program Lead will provide 1:1 real-time and asynchronous clinical consultations to providers managing high-risk client situations. Responsibilities include facilitating peer consultation groups for shared learning on ethical practice and client safety, identifying and escalating risk trends to inform proactive interventions, and partnering with Operations and Data teams to refine a client safety dashboard. The role also involves translating lessons from adverse incidents into scalable tools, documentation standards, and provider education to enhance care quality across the platform.
