Requirements

Candidates should possess 8-10 years of experience in e-commerce fraud and payments, with strong industry knowledge of current fraud prevention tools and functionality. A working knowledge of SQL and a programming language is required, along with proficiency in web browsers and web-based tools. The ability to work within a team, meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and maintain strong attention to detail with consistent accuracy are essential. Candidates must be self-starters, organized, able to think analytically, and make accurate decisions, while also being comfortable taking initiative and quickly grasping new concepts.

Responsibilities

The Director, Risk Strategy & Analytics will lead risk strategy initiatives to scale the business and drive operational excellence. They will collaborate with functional leaders across product, engineering, business intelligence, retail, operations, finance, legal, and Human Resources to advance fraud and risk priorities. This role involves serving as the lead on cross-functional initiatives, managing fraud project execution from start to finish, and demonstrating proficiency in managing fraud operational costs and balancing budgetary expenses efficiently. The position requires a proactive and entrepreneurial approach, prioritizing urgent and important work, and contributing to all aspects of the business while providing valuable analytical and qualitative insights on fraud and risk.
