Requirements

  • Experienced director or senior engineering leader comfortable pushing code to production when necessary
  • Proven track record in scaling services and systems, with experience in projects built for scalability and resilience
  • Skilled at managing and mentoring high-performing teams, nurturing talent, and guiding individuals toward professional growth
  • Experienced in crafting long-term strategies and managing technical roadmaps that pave the way for future growth
  • Successful in running agile organisations at scale, with urgency to deliver quality software that solves customer problems
  • Demonstrated ability to foster positive culture and diversity across a large engineering organisation to achieve transformational change

Responsibilities

  • Establish and grow Clio’s engineering presence in APAC as the first engineering leadership hire in the region
  • Deep dive into technology and code to get things done and help managers and developers understand possibilities
  • Directly supervise, mentor, and collaborate with engineering managers and individual contributors
  • Navigate challenges of transitioning to seamless and efficient document handling
  • Partner with leadership in Product Management and Product Design to envision, develop, and execute on the product roadmap
  • Work closely with Recruiting and People team to actively recruit and hire top talent for growth plans
  • Work closely with Product and Design, lead a talented team, and define technical strategy supporting international expansion while fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence
