Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, data management or other relevant discipline
  • 10 years+ of experience in a Senior Data Management role
  • Strong knowledge in data wrangling tools such as Talend and Python
  • Good knowledge in the latest AI technologies
  • Excellent communication, collaborative and relationship building skills
  • Transformation mindset with a track record of successfully navigating and collaborating within complex matrixed organizations, and having discussions with key stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Ability to work with diverse teams, in a dynamic environment, as part of a global team while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work from Paddington office at least 3 days a week

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of technical experts and program managers within the UK & Ireland responsible for sourcing data solutions, evaluating vendors and platforms, and managing vendor relationships to support scalable, secure, cost-effective data maintenance and operations
  • Implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis, with a focus on the scalable nature of all processes
  • Build out a global response and support of data incident management for UK & Ireland
  • Deliver on all strategic and tactical objectives for the department while collaborating with various global teams to bring the best data products to customers
  • Lead aspects of the data governance function to deliver operational excellence through the implementation of Dun & Bradstreet's established data standards, practices, methodologies, and tools
  • Drive compliance programs to maintain adherence with data quality framework and standards including adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data; identify continuous improvement opportunities through automation and simplification
  • Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support data governance initiatives and products, building and testing Proof of Concept that meet business needs
  • Grow and develop the members of the team with respect to their personal and professional aspirations, providing critical feedback to coach them along their paths
