Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data operations, data management, or file integration
  • Strong understanding of large-scale data pipelines and exchange workflows
  • Familiarity with healthcare data formats (e.g., CCLF, BCDA, ADT, QRDA) preferred
  • Solid technical foundation—comfortable with SQL, cloud storage concepts, and common data exchange protocols
  • Proven ability to identify, triage, and resolve complex data quality and delivery issues
  • Strong organizational skills and analytical mindset
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize data operations to ensure data flow is accurate, reliable, and scalable
  • Own the data flow: Manage inbound and outbound data exchanges, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Build scalable systems: Partner with Engineering to improve data acquisition, validation, and delivery
  • Monitor and maintain performance: Establish dashboards and monitoring processes to track SLAs and data quality
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Product, Engineering, and vendor partners to coordinate data ingestion and troubleshoot issues
  • Problem-solve under pressure: Diagnose and resolve complex data issues quickly
  • Drive operational excellence: Develop documentation, automation, and best practices
  • Lay the foundation for growth: Help establish and lead a centralized Data Operations function
